| Biyografi | David Gait is Senior Portfolio Manager with First State Investments’ Global Emerging Markets/Asia Pacific (ex-Japan) team, having joined the company in 1997. David took on portfolio manager responsibilities in December 2005 managing the First State Asia Pacific Sustainability Fund. In August 2008 he was appointed lead portfolio manager of the First State India Subcontinent Fund. In early 1999, he joined the Asia Pacific (ex-Japan) desk as Senior Analyst. Having initially covered Korea, Taiwan and the Indian Sub-continent until the end of 2000, he then focused his research efforts on China and South-East Asia. David now covers all emerging markets with a specific focus on SRI and macro research. David holds an MA with honours in Economics from Cambridge University, and holds a Master of Science in Investment Analysis from Stirling University. He is an Associate member of the UK Society of Investment Professionals. | ||

Sashi is an investment analyst, responsible for providing research support to portfolio managers and will have a main focus on Indian equities. Before joining First State Sashi worked at Credit Suisse First Boston from 2005 to 2007 as an analyst covering the small and mid cap European market. | Biyografi | Angus Tulloch is Joint Managing Partner of the Asia Pacific/ Global Emerging Markets equity team at First State Investments. Angus’ primary focus is stock selection and portfolio construction. Graduating from Cambridge University in 1970 with a BA (Honours) in Economics and History, Angus worked with Chartered Accountants Whinney Murray (now Ernst & Young) for four years. He then gained substantial industry experience in corporate planning and finance roles with various national companies before joining London stockbrokers Cazenove & Co in 1980. Specialising mainly in Far Eastern markets, Angus spent three of the next eight years with this firm based in Hong Kong as a regional analyst before assuming a fund management role in its London office. In 1988 he returned to Scotland, joining Stewart Ivory (subsequently bought by First State Investments) to establish an Asia Pacific and Emerging Markets capability. Since then, Angus and his team have won many industry awards. | ||

Richard has more than 29 years of investment experience in Asia, focused on both company research and portfolio management. Following the merger of the Edinburgh-based Asia Pacific team with the Hong Kong and Singapore Asian teams in September 2003, Alistair took on the role of Deputy Head of Asia Pacific (ex-Japan) and relocated to Singapore in December 2003.Alistair joined First State from Edinburgh Fund Managers where he worked for nine years and was Head of Asia Pacific (ex Japan). Alistair was the portfolio manager for a range of open ended funds and a leading investment trust. Prior to joining Edinburgh Fund Managers in November 1993, he worked for CIM Fund Managers where he started managing their money market funds from 1990 and their Asian funds from 1992, having joined the firm in 1989. Alistair holds a Diploma in Fund Management from the Securities Institute of London. | ||

| Biyografi | Martin Lau is a Managing Partner of First State Stewart Asia, part of First State Investments. Martin has more than 22 years of experience in managing Asia Pacific and Greater China portfolios. He joined the First State Stewart Asia team in April 2002 and is based in Hong Kong. Martin is the lead manager of a number of First State funds: the First State Asian Equity Plus Fund, the First State Asian Bridge Fund, the First State Asia Pacific All Cap Fund, the First State New Era PRC Fund, the First State China Growth Fund, the First State Greater China Growth Fund and the First State Hong Kong Growth Fund. Martin graduated from Cambridge University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Masters degree in Engineering. He is also a CFA charterholder. | ||
