She spent the preceding three years as a derivatives specialist at Mellon Capital. Ms. Zau earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of California, Berkeley. In this role, Mr. Bliss was responsible for overseeing a team of portfolio managers managing domestic, developed international and emerging markets index strategies. Prior to Blackrock, he worked as an equity analyst and portfolio manager for Harris Bretall and before that, as a research analyst for JP Morgan. Mr. Bliss earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Northern Illinois University.
